In synergy with the tourism industry, WTK Group had built a 14-Storey hotel in Kuching and commenced its business operation in October, 2000. The hotel named as "Harbour View Hotel", located within the central business district, is expected to become another landmark for the city. It has 245 fully equipped rooms, coffee house, function rooms, conference rooms, business center and other amenities. The completion and operation of this hotel will signify another pragmatic step towards the group’s expansion and business diversification programme. Besides, it is also in tandem with the government effort to promote tourism industry in the country.

Insurance

The general insurance service operation unit has a strong marketing supports from the WTK group of companies and contractors. WTK Is being the appointed agent for agencies such as Allianz General Insurance Malaysia Berhad, Tokio Marine Tnsurans (Malaysia) Berhad and Malaysia National Insurance Berhad respectively. These agencies provide coverage for personal accidents and general insurance. General Insurance Services and policies of various nature or coverage include marine hull, marine cargo, inland transit, logging machineries, equipments, motors, fire, flood/water, burglaries, personal accidents insurances, foreign workers and public liabilities are provided for the group's security and risk control. General insurance and personal accidental insurance provides extensive protection against accidental death, disability and hospitalization. Insurance services is an increasingly important part of our group's wealth management strategy, its products of various nature are fast gaining popularity and recognition in the challenging business circle irrespective of any discipline.

Shipping

In yielding more sales and to optimize value retention within the group, WTK has her own shipping department for the transportation of the group's production of round logs and timber based products to designated ports, domestic markets and mills within Malaysia as well as international destinations. This department also plays an important role in the mobilization and delivery of logging machinery, supporting equipments, spare parts, fuel and lubricants to our numerous logging camps throughout Sarawak. WTK also provides supporting shipping services for other business associates on a contractual basis or by chartered service. Under WTK house-hold, there is a fleet of 40 units of different types of inland and marine vessels (e.g. cargo vessels, landing crafts, oil tankers, barges, tugboats and others). We provide good service with prompt delivery of cargo and consignments.
